1.  Updates on PolyU Programme (JS3110)

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has recently approved the revamp of the specialism of Building Services Engineering of the BEng (Hons) Scheme in Building Sciences and Engineering programme (JS3110) by integrating it into the mainstream programme with effect from the 2024 – 2025 academic year.  Please refer to the Letter from PolyU and the PolyU website for details.

BEng (Hons) Scheme in Building Sciences and Engineering (Building Sciences and Engineering / Building Sciences and Engineering with the specialism of Building Services Engineering) 建築科學及工程學（榮譽）工學士組合課程（建築科學及工程學／建築科學及工程學（屋宇設備工程學）） comprises the following: BEng (Hons) in Building Sciences and Engineering 建築科學及工程學（榮譽）工學士 OR BEng (Hons) in Building Sciences and Engineering with the specialism of Building Services Engineering 建築科學及工程學（榮譽）工學士（屋宇設備工程學）

BEng (Hons) Scheme in Building Sciences and Engineering 建築科學及工程學（榮譽）工學士組合課程 comprises the following: BEng (Hons) in Building Sciences and Engineering 建築科學及工程學（榮譽）工學士

2.  Special Arrangements for Free-of-charge Programme Change

In the light of the above change, special arrangements have been made to allow JUPAS applicants to update their programme choices free-of-charge (for one submission only) via their JUPAS accounts.  Such free-of-charge change only applies to the following:

JS3110	ADD JS3110 to the original programme choice list (as long as the total number of programme choices does not exceed 20) REPLACE existing programme with JS3110 REARRANGE the order of the original programme choices including JS3110 DELETE JS3110 from the programme choice list	3 May 2024 – 9 May 2024 (11:59 pm)

Please note that any change requests submitted outside the specified period of 3 May 2024 to 9 May 2024 (11:59 pm) for free-of-charge programme changes will be charged an amendment fee of HK$100 per request until 29 May 2024 (11:59 pm).
