HKDSE Examination Results

Applicants with Past and / or Current HKDSE Examination Results

ALL past and / or current HKDSE Examination results (including Aegrotat Certificates as applicable) of the applicants will be obtained from the HKEAA by the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions, provided they have used the same identity document (i.e. HKID card) numbers to register for both their JUPAS accounts and their HKDSE Examinations.

In this regard, applicants are required, at the time of applications, to authorise, via the JUPAS online application system at the "My Declaration" page, the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions to obtain, and the HKEAA to release, their results concerned in support of their applications.  As such, applicants are not required to submit their HKDSE Examination results to the JUPAS Office.  Nevertheless, applicants are required to confirm via their JUPAS accounts their HKDSE Examination years to ensure that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions have obtained ALL their HKDSE Examination results from the HKEAA.

The 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions may consider the HKDSE Examination results obtained by the applicants in different sittings when assessing their eligibility for admission.  In this regard, applicants should consult the general entrance requirements and individual programme requirements and the websites of the respective institutions for further information.

Points to Note

  1. The HKID card numbers which the applicants have used to register their JUPAS accounts MUST BE IDENTICAL to those used to register for their HKDSE Examination at the HKEAA.  Applicants who have used different identity documents to register for different sittings in the HKDSE Examination must notify the JUPAS Office IMMEDIATELY.  If they fail to do so, the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will NOT be able to obtain ALL the HKDSE Examination results (past and / or current) of the applicants concerned from the HKEAA.  In such cases, these applications may be disadvantaged since the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions would not be able to review all the applicants' sittings in their HKDSE Examination.

  2. Following from point 1 above, applicants are required to confirm their years of HKDSE Examination results the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions obtained from the HKEAA.  They will be informed by the JUPAS Office via email#^ and SMS^ once they are available for confirmation in their JUPAS accounts.

As email is one of the channels that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will use to contact applicants, applicants must ensure that the setting of their personal email accounts will not filter out or place such correspondence in the trash / junk / spam folders.

^ Emails and SMS are delivered via third party network providers and therefore the JUPAS Office is not responsible for any delay, loss, transfer, amendment or damage arising from the transmission process via third party network providers.

Should there be any discrepancies between information contained in emails and SMS and applicants' JUPAS accounts, the information contained in the latter (i.e. the JUPAS accounts) shall prevail.

Applicants are strongly advised to log in to their JUPAS accounts to double-check the related information.

Since important messages and correspondence from the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will be sent via applicants' mobile phone numbers and / or mailing addresses, applicants SHOULD NEVER share their mobile phone numbers or mailing addresses with other applicants in order to protect any information related to their JUPAS applications.

SMS will only be sent to a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number.  Applicants who provide a mobile phone number outside of Hong Kong should check the message under message boxes in the JUPAS accounts.
