CULTURAL MANAGEMENT

Short Description

Cultural Management is a relatively new field that addresses the contemporary issues as to how culture, taken as a product or service for urban life and consumption through management, can maximise its meanings and values to benefit life qualities and facilitate policy-making decisions.   The programme offers training to investigate culture through three different perspectives: (i) cultural heritage, conservation and tourism; (ii) cultural institutions and programming; and (iii) cultural and creative industries.

Calculation of scores for applicants with more than 1 sitting in HKDSE Examination

Most programmes offered by CUHK consider the best results in the same subject taken by a candidate in more than one sitting of HKDSE.  Some programmes may have specific arrangements and the admission scores of candidates seeking admission on the strength of results from more than one sitting of HKDSE may be adjusted.  Details of calculation of scores in more than one sitting of HKDSE for the 2018-19 entry will be finalised and posted at the admissions website (www.cuhk.edu.hk/adm).
