Application Fee

The application fee for the 2017 JUPAS is HK$420.  Application fee received after the application deadline of 1 December 2016 (11:59 pm) will be subject to a late charge of HK$300.

The application fee is collected by the JUPAS Office on behalf of the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions, and is not refundable or transferable to another year / other application.

Channels and Procedures for Payment of Application Fee

All school and non-school applicants MUST pay the application fees on or before the application deadline of 1 December 2016 (11:59 pm) via one of the following channels:

CREDIT CARD
VisaMasterCard

Applicants can pay the application fees by VISA / MasterCard (issued by any bank).

Note:

  • Applicants are advised to go through the Guide to Payment for online credit card payment before paying the application fees.

  • Applicants MUST log on their JUPAS accounts to make the payments via credit card, after which they can complete their application procedures.

  • Applicants should check the details on the confirmation pages shown after successful payments and print a copy for their own record.

PPS (online payment)
PPS Online

Applicants can pay the application fees via PPS online.

Note:

  • Applicants are advised to go through the Guide to Payment for PPS (online payment) before paying the application fees.

  • Applicants MUST log on their JUPAS accounts to make the payments via PPS online, after which they can complete their application procedures.

  • PPS by phone will NOT be accepted.

  • Applicants should check the details on the confirmation pages shown after successful payments and print a copy for their own record.

E-BANKING (for personal account only)
Applicants can pay the application fees via e-banking (only e-banking services provided by HSBC, Hang Seng Bank and The Bank of East Asia (BEA) are accepted).

Note:

  • Applicants are advised to go through the respective Guide to Payment (HSBC / Hang Seng Bank / BEA) for e-banking payment service before paying the application fees.

  • The APPLICANTS' HKID CARD NUMBERS must be used to register payments as the Bill Payment No. (e.g. applicant with an HKID card number of A123456(A) should input A123456A as the Bill Payment No.), otherwise the JUPAS Office will not be able to identify the applicants' fee payments.

  • It will take at least 1 working day before the payment via e-banking can be processed, after which applicants can log on the JUPAS online application system to create their JUPAS accounts and / or complete their application procedures.

  • Applicants should check the details on the confirmation pages shown after successful payments and print a copy for their own record.

  • The deadline for paying application fee via e-banking is 30 November 2016 (7:30 pm).

CASH (BEA)
BEA

Applicants can pay the application fees in CASH at any branch of BEA to the following account:

  • Account Name
    Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS)

  • Account No.
    176-40-03002-6

Note:

  • The APPLICANTS' HKID CARD NUMBERS must be produced and used in making the payments, otherwise the JUPAS Office will not be able to identify the applicants' fee payments.

  • Payment by cheque or ATM transfer will NOT be accepted.

  • Account Deposit Forms will be issued by BEA for applicants' retention.  Applicants should check the information printed on the Account Deposit Forms carefully before leaving the bank counters.  If inaccurate information is found, applicants should inform the bank staff immediately, otherwise the JUPAS Office will not be able to process applicants' fee payments and they will be required to make new payments.

  • It will take at least 1 working day before the payment via the Bank can be processed, after which applicants can log on the JUPAS online application system to create their JUPAS accounts and / or complete their application procedures.

  • Please refer to the respective branches of BEA for business hours.

CASH (JUPAS Office)
JUPAS Office

Applicants can pay the application fees in CASH at the JUPAS Office.

Note:

  • Applicants MUST log on their JUPAS accounts to print copies of their payment slips and bring them to the JUPAS Office in making the payments, after which they can log on their JUPAS accounts to complete their application procedures.

  • Payment by cheque, credit card or EPS will NOT be accepted.

Please note that the JUPAS Office has no access to the bank account information for making the payment.

Applicants paying via e-banking / cash at BEA should note that as it will take at least 1 working day before the payments can be processed, please make the payments earlier in order that they can complete the application procedures in time.

Applicants will receive confirmation emails and SMS from the JUPAS Office upon successful payments of the application fees and completion of application procedures via the JUPAS online application system.

It is applicants' responsibilities to check for such messages.  Applicants should enquire at the JUPAS Office immediately if they do not receive such messages after completing the relevant procedures.
