Submission of Application
Application Period and Method
All applicants who are eligible to apply via JUPAS should submit and complete their applications via the JUPAS online application system from 21 September 2016 (9:00 am) to 1 December 2016 (11:59 pm).
Applicants are advised to submit their applications earlier to avoid heavy internet traffic near the deadline (i.e. 1 December 2016 (11:59 pm)).
Late applications may be accepted on EXCEPTIONAL basis if applicants could support their late applications with good reasons for the consideration of JUPAS, whose decision is final. All late accepted applications will be subject to a late charge of HK$300.
Applicants who wish to submit their late applications MUST
create their respective JUPAS accounts at the JUPAS online application system, and
contact the JUPAS Office in advance to make an appointment for the submission, as the JUPAS Office is required to schedule time-slots for assisting applicants in completing the submission process. As such, submissions without prior appointments will NOT be entertained.

Applicants can enter the following application information to their JUPAS accounts after completion of the above mandatory steps.
The Online Application System User Guide for Applicants (Applicants' User Guide) on submission of application will be available at the JUPAS website as from 21 September 2016.
Before submitting the applications, applicants are advised to go through the Applicants' User Guide which is a step-by-step demonstration of the procedures on submission of application.
School and Non-school Applicants
Applicants who are current secondary school students MUST apply via JUPAS as school applicants regardless of whether they may be sitting for the 2017 HKDSE Examination as private candidates.
Applicants who are not current secondary school students MUST apply via JUPAS as non-school applicants.
ALL applicants (school and non-school applicants) applying via JUPAS on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results are considered on the same basis by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions.
