HKU and Peking University (PKU) are launching an HKU-PKU "Future Leaders" Dual Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance and Management for 2019 intake.  The programme integrates the strengths of two leading business schools in Hong Kong and Mainland China.  Students will get a Bachelor of Economics and Finance (BEcon&Fin) from HKU, and a Bachelor of Management (BMgmt) from PKU upon successful completion of the 4-year programme.

The economic development in both Hong Kong and Mainland China is highly correlated, yet the business environment in both places is utterly disparate.  This new programme allows students to develop a robust understanding of business models in both markets, and to get familiar with different operation and management styles.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in summer exchange programme at world-class top universities, and may get internship experience from Hong Kong or Mainland China companies.  With solid knowledge of economics, finance and management and essential interpersonal skills that are grounded in multi-cultural and social contexts, graduates are expected to become competitive and capable business leaders with global perspective.

HKU is making this initial announcement – to alert potential students of this imminent new HKU study option.  If applicants are interested in this dual degree programme, please provide their details to HKU via this link.  HKU will inform applicants of the application procedures and programme details once these have all been finalised.

Please refer to the programme website for details.
