Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship and Healthcare Management

Riding on Hong Kong's emergence as an international innovation and technology hub and to cater for the global demand for better health management, this interdisciplinary programme jointly offered by the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Business Administration of The Chinese University of Hong Kong aims to cultivate a new generation of talents with entrepreneurship and innovative mindset, ability to analyse and integrate a wide range of scientific and technological information, and have healthcare management training.  In addition to traditional lectures, active learning will be implemented through self-selected projects.  The curriculum incorporates critical analysis of "real-world" business models and policies related to biotechnology and healthcare, as well as training in business plan and policy proposal writings, etc.  In addition, industry professionals in related fields will be invited to provide mentorships and off-campus internship opportunities for the students.

Applicants who wish to update their programme choices must do so before the deadline for submission of programme choices (i.e. 8 December 2021 (11:59 pm)) via their JUPAS accounts.  Any change request submitted after the deadline will be charged an amendment fee of HK$100 per request until 1 June 2022 (11:59 pm).
