The JUPAS Office is delighted to announce that the JUPAS website has won the "Triple Gold Award" in the 2024 – 2025 Digital Accessibility Recognition Scheme (Scheme) organised by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC).  This marks the third time that the JUPAS website has achieved "Gold Award" in three consecutive years in this Scheme.  The Scheme is co-organised by the Digital Policy Office (DPO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and advised by the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) as the independent advisor, recognising organisations that adopt digital accessibility to promote equality of access and ease of use.

Mr. Nelson Ngan, Executive Director of the JUPAS Office, received the award on behalf of the JUPAS Office at the award presentation ceremony held on 19 May 2025.  He expressed his pleasure in receiving the award, attributing it to the dedicated efforts of the team members who helped the JUPAS website meet the stringent criteria of the Scheme.  The Office has always regarded digital accessibility as a crucial element in servicing its stakeholders, and this philosophy has driven the team to strive for excellence in building and maintaining the website.

The award-winning JUPAS website fulfilled 27 judging criteria required by the Gold Category, offering features such as a user-friendly design, compatibility with Screen Readers, cross-browser compatibility, basic and key web accessibility features, and a customised programme-search engine.  The website is monitored and reviewed regularly, and continually improved to serve the evolving needs of JUPAS's stakeholders.
