1.  Updates on PolyU Programme (JS3290)

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has recently reviewed the undergraduate curriculum and approved the discontinuation of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Vision Science with a Secondary Major in AI and Data Analytics and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Vision Science with a Secondary Major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship with effect from the 2025 admissions exercise.  All admitted applicants will study for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Optometry（眼科視光學（榮譽）理學士）and graduate with this title once they satisfy all conditions for the award.  Please refer to the Letter from PolyU and the PolyU website for details.

2.  Special Arrangements for Free-of-charge Programme Change

In the light of the above changes, special arrangements have been made to allow JUPAS applicants who have selected JS3290 in their CONFIRMED programme choices to update the programme choice list free-of-charge (for one submission only) via their JUPAS accounts.  Such free-of-charge change only applies to the following:

JS3290	REPLACE existing JS3290 on the original programme choice list with new programmes (as long as the total number of programme choices does not exceed 20) REARRANGE the order of the original programme choices including JS3290 DELETE JS3290 from the programme choice list	23 May 2025 – 28 May 2025 (11:59 pm)

Please note that any change requests outside the above specified changes allowed will be charged an amendment fee of HK$100 per request until 28 May 2025 (11:59 pm).
