Lingnan University (LingnanU) is committed to the tradition of liberal arts education, firmly believing that students possess diverse potentials.  While applicants are required to meet the General Entrance Requirement of "332A22" (Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language, Level 2 or above in Mathematics, an 'Attained' rating in Citizenship and Social Development, and Level 2 or above in two elective subjects), specific programmes will implement flexible admission arrangements for the 2026 – 2027 academic year.

Key features of the flexible admission arrangements:

1. Band A Programme Choice

Applicants must place a LingnanU programme among their Band A choices.

2. Holistic Approach & Being Competitive Enough

LingnanU will holistically review applicants' overall academic performance (e.g. Best 5 subjects) to ensure they are competitive enough for admission consideration, even if their results in Chinese Language and / or Mathematics are one level below the standard requirement.
