5 October 2023 (9:00 am) to 6 December 2023 (11:59 pm)

Applicants who are eligible to apply via JUPAS and wish to apply for admission to the programmes under JUPAS should submit and complete their applications via the JUPAS online application system from 5 October 2023 (9:00 am) – 6 December 2023 (11:59 pm).

Applicants are advised to submit their applications early to avoid heavy internet traffic near the deadline (i.e. 6 December 2023 (11:59 pm)).

Applicants who have missed the above deadline (i.e. 6 December 2023 (11:59 pm)) may submit late applications.  Late applications are accepted from 8 December 2023 (9:00 am) to 29 May 2024 (5:00 pm).

All late applications MUST BE completed and submitted via the JUPAS online application system.  Late applications submitted after the deadline of 29 May 2024 (5:00 pm) will NOT be accepted.

The fee for late application is HK$810 (which includes the application fee of HK$460 and a late charge of HK$350).  Applicants must pay the late application fee via credit card, FPS or PPS by Internet.

After paying the late application fee, applicants MUST submit their programme choices to "My CONFIRMED Programme Choices" within two days or by 29 May 2024 (11:59 pm) (whichever is earlier).

Applicants should note that whilst late applications are accepted, under no circumstances whatsoever would submissions of OEA, SLP, Other Academic Results (Language Subjects), Music Qualifications, ACL, Prior Education and Reference Report (for non-school applicants only) / School Reference Report be accepted after their respective deadlines.

Applicants will receive emails#^ from the JUPAS Office upon

  1. successful creation of a JUPAS account;

  2. successful payment of application fees;

  3. successful generation of an application number by the JUPAS online application system;

The Applicants' User Guide on submission of application will be available on the JUPAS website in early October 2023.

School and Non-school Applicants

Applicants who are current secondary school students MUST apply via JUPAS as school applicants regardless of whether they may be sitting for the 2024 HKDSE Examination as private candidates.

Applicants who are not current secondary school students MUST apply via JUPAS as non-school applicants.

ALL applicants (school and non-school applicants) applying via JUPAS on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results are considered on the same basis by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions.

As email is one of the channels that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will use to contact applicants, applicants must ensure that the setting of their personal email accounts will not filter out or place such correspondence in the trash / junk / spam folders.

^ Emails and SMS are delivered via third party network providers and therefore the JUPAS Office is not responsible for any delay, loss, transfer, amendment or damage arising from the transmission process via third party network providers.

Should there be any discrepancies between information contained in emails and SMS and applicants' JUPAS accounts, the information contained in the latter (i.e. the JUPAS accounts) shall prevail.

Applicants are strongly advised to log in to their JUPAS accounts to double-check the related information.

Since important messages and correspondence from the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will be sent via applicants' mobile phone numbers and / or mailing addresses, applicants SHOULD NEVER share their mobile phone numbers or mailing addresses with other applicants in order to protect any information related to their JUPAS applications.

 SMS will only be sent to a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number.  Applicants who provide a mobile phone number outside of Hong Kong should check the message under message boxes in the JUPAS accounts.
