Note1: For applicants who have studied Chinese Language for less than six years while receiving primary and secondary education; or those who have learned Chinese Language for six years or more in schools, which adopts an adapted and simpler Chinese Language curriculum not otherwise applicable to the majority of students in local schools, the University will accept the following as an alternative to the HKDSE Chinese Language:
- Grade E or above in the alternative Chinese Language qualifications of GCE A-Level/AS-Level; or
- Grade C or 4 or above in the alternative Chinese Language qualifications of GCE O-Level/GCSE/IGCSE; or
- “Attained” or above in Applied Learning Chinese.

1. For applicants who sat for the HKDSE in 2023 or earlier, a Level 2 or above in Liberal Studies will be recognised as meeting the Citizenship and Social Development requirement ("Attained") for general entrance purposes.

Category A Subjects: All Category A subjects will be counted as electives.

Mathematics Extended Modules (M1/M2): The Mathematics Extended Parts (M1/M2) are recognised as an elective subject for the purpose of meeting the University's General Entrance Requirements (GERs).

Category C Subjects: Other Language subjects in Category C will be recognised as unspecified elective subjects.

Category B Subjects: Applied Learning (ApL) subjects in Category B may be recognised as electives, bonus score, or tie-breakers by individual programmes. For more details, please visit the Lingnan University Undergraduate Admissions website (https://www.ln.edu.hk/admissions/ug).

Programme Requirement (Data Science): For the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science, the minimum level required for the Mathematics Compulsory Part is Level 3.

Flexible JUPAS Admission Arrangement: Applicants who marginally fail to meet the entrance requirements for specific programmes at Lingnan University may still be considered for admission. Tuition Fees
The 2027 – 2028 tuition fees (HKD)▲■ for all LingnanU bachelor's degree programmes is HK$49,500.
▲ The tuition fees for UGC-funded programmes are

subject to annual review by the HKSAR Government; and

applicable to eligible applicants only.
■ In case of discrepancies between the tuition fees listed on the JUPAS Website and that listed on the websites of the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions, the amount of which listed on individual institution's website will prevail. Applicants are advised to check the amount of tuition fees with the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions in advance.
