About SSSDP

Application Procedures

LOCAL applicants who wish to apply for admission to subsidised places of designated first-year-first-degree (FYFD) programmes offered by the SSSDP institutions should follow the application procedures of JUPAS. For more information, please refer to the section on Eligibility.

Applicants may select from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 20 programme choices from the following programmes:

University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded Programmes

UGC-funded full-time bachelor's degree programmes offered by the 8 UGC-funded institutions (viz. CityUHK, HKBU, LingnanU, CUHK, EdUHK, PolyU, HKUST and HKU);
UGC-funded full-time higher diploma programme offered by EdUHK;

Self-financing Programmes

self-financing full-time bachelor's degree programmes offered by Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU); and

Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) Programmes

subsidised places of designated FYFD programmes offered by the SSSDP institutions.

There is no limit on the number of programme choices applicants can select from different funding categories / institutions as long as the total number of programme choices does not exceed 20.
