BBA(Law)&LLB
Short Description
The BBA(Law)&LLB programme is designed to provide students with professional knowledge and intensive training in the fields of both business and law. It is jointly offered by HKU Business School and the Faculty of Law, and it integrates business and law courses.
The BBA(Law)&LLB double-degree programme blends two strategic disciplines into a single course for the bright and highly motivated. It is a good choice for students seeking a broad education and flexibility in their career choices. Graduates of the programme will be awarded two degrees: BBA(Law) by HKU Business School, and LLB by the Faculty of Law. The LLB degree is the basic requirement to pursue a legal career. After obtaining the LLB degree, students who meet the admission requirements can apply for the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) programme.

Calculation of scores for applicants with more than 1 sitting in HKDSE Examination
In general, most of the programmes offered by HKU consider the best results achieved by candidates in different combination of sittings, except for a few programmes which only consider the latest results. The year(s) of study beyond the four-year curriculum are offered on a 'self-financing' basis, which means:
- that students studying for these further qualifications will be required to pay composition fees higher than the normal fee; and
- that while these students will be eligible for financial assistance under the Government Financial Assistance Scheme and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme, they will not be eligible for other Government loans and grants.
