Short Description
The programme aims to nurture graduates with updated practical knowledge and work-based experiential learning opportunities in hotel and tourism operations and management. Students will be exposed to a diverse range of practice-oriented courses on hotel operations, tourism and events management, smart technology applications, and sustainable environmental management for hotel and tourism. They will have access to various on-campus facilities, such as a simulated guest room, front desk, kitchen, and restaurant, as well as a training hotel where they can gain practical experience. Additionally, they are required to undertake a 9-month internship, collaborating with international hotel and tourism partners, to gain real-world experience and enhance their graduate employability in the related industries.
Remarks:
The programme has been selected for the second round of Education Bureau’s Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes. It offers multiple entry routes and articulation pathways. For details, please refer to the website of the respective programme.
