Introduction of New HKU Programmes (JS6200 and JS6626)

The following new programmes will be offered by The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in the 2026 Admissions Exercise:

1. JS6200: Your Gateway to AI, Data Science & Shanghai's Innovation Hub, offered by the School of Computing and Data Science, HKU
Starting from 2026 Admissions Exercise, the School of Computing and Data Science, HKU will offer JS6200 Computing and Data Science (Delta+): Empowering Future Tech Talents Across Regions.
JS6200 Computing and Data Science (Delta+) offers a curriculum equivalent to JS6999, while providing a unique cross-regional (2 Deltas) immersive learning experience centered on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computer Science. What sets JS6200 apart is the Delta+ Fellowship, which supports all admitted students in completing the final 1.5 years of their studies at the HKU-CDS Teaching and Research Site in Shanghai. This includes a seven-month Co-operative placement in industry, designed to deeply engage students with Shanghai's vibrant AI ecosystem. Please refer to the CDS website for details.
2. HKUMed establishes a new JUPAS Catalogue No. for DMS
Starting from the 2026 Admissions Exercise, the existing "Distinguished MedScholar" study track (DMS) under the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme will be designated a new JUPAS Catalogue No., JS6626. Please refer to the HKU website for details.
