Verification of Supporting Documents for Other Academic Results (Language Subjects)

For verification purpose, applicants must provide supporting documents for the other academic results (language subjects) entered in the JUPAS accounts via one of the following options.

The deadline for verification of supporting documents for other academic results (language subjects) is 26 April 2023 (11:59 pm).

Late submission for verification will NOT be accepted.

Please note that qualifications without verification will NOT be considered by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions.

1. Verify by Schools (Only Applicable to School Applicants)

School applicants are advised to produce their certificates with the subject grades to their schools for verification of their qualifications via the JUPAS online application system, which is the most convenient approach.  They are not required to submit supporting documents to the JUPAS Office.  They can log on their JUPAS accounts to check the updated verification status once the qualifications have been verified by their schools.

2. Submit Copies of Certificates to the JUPAS Office by Email

Applicants who wish to submit copies of their certificates with the subject grades to the JUPAS Office by email may send them in PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format to info@jupas.edu.hk via their email accounts registered in the JUPAS online application system.  They must state their application numbers in the email and at the upper right corner on their copies of certificates.  Otherwise, there may be difficulty in identifying the applicants.

3. Submit Copies of Certificates to the JUPAS Office by Post

Applicants may submit copies of the certificates with the subject grades to the JUPAS Office by post.  They must state their application numbers at the upper right corner on their copies of certificates.  Otherwise, there may be difficulty in identifying the applicants.

Applicants are reminded that they SHOULD NOT send the original documents by post to the JUPAS Office to prevent the possibility of them being lost in the mail.  The JUPAS Office will not be responsible for documents lost in the mail.

4. Provide Written Proof to the JUPAS Office by the Issuing Authority

The JUPAS Office accepts the written proof provided by the issuing authorities concerned of the qualifications applicants have attained via email at info@jupas.edu.hk or by post.  Applicants should contact the issuing authorities concerned for the arrangements, if any.

Should there be any discrepancies between the information entered by the applicants and the information contained in the supporting documents submitted to the JUPAS Office, the latter (i.e. information contained in the supporting documents) is final.  Information of other academic results (language subjects) will be amended by the JUPAS Office according to the information contained in the supporting documents without further notice.

Applicants who have submitted supporting documents to the JUPAS Office for verification via Options 2 to 4 can log on their JUPAS accounts to check the updated verification status 2 working days after the relevant documents are received by the JUPAS Office.

Points to Note

In the consideration of other academic results (language subjects), the following will NOT be accepted:

  1. "equivalent" qualifications;

  2. qualifications not on the List of Other Academic Results (Language Subjects);

  3. online results / reports; and

  4. provisional results.

Applicants' other academic results (language subjects) are collected for reference by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions only, and it will be entirely up to these institutions to decide whether and how the qualifications will be taken into consideration for admission purposes.

The final decision on admission will be subject to the authentication of the qualifications as listed in the applications of the applicants.  Applicants may be requested to produce the original copies of the supporting documents when required.  If they fail to do so, the JUPAS applications of those applicants may be disqualified, or the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions may withdraw or amend their offers, or cancel their registration / enrolment, or terminate the studies of those applicants.
