Cancellation of JUPAS Application
Applicants who wish to cancel their JUPAS applications MUST submit their requests via their JUPAS accounts on or before the deadline of 20 July 2022 (11:59 pm).
Applicants will receive emails#^ and SMS■^ from the JUPAS Office upon successful submission of cancellation requests.
It is applicants' responsibilities to check for such messages. Applicants should enquire at the JUPAS Office immediately if they do not receive such messages after completing the relevant procedures.
Confirmation of the cancellation requests will also be sent via emails#^ to the applicants who have requested for cancellation of their JUPAS applications for their records within 5 working days from the day their requests are completed.
Once the process for the cancellation of the JUPAS applications is completed, the applicants will no longer be able to access their JUPAS application information.
Any fees paid will not be refunded or transferred to another year / other application.
Applicants who have cancelled their JUPAS applications and wish to reinstate their JUPAS applications at a later stage may do so on or before the deadline of 1 June 2022 (5:00 pm). All requests for reinstatement of JUPAS applications will be subject to a charge of HK$350.
Applicants who submit their requests for reinstatement of their JUPAS applications after the deadline of 1 June 2022 (5:00 pm) will NOT be accepted and their JUPAS applications will not, under any circumstances, be reinstated in the same academic year (2022 – 2023).

Points to Note
Applicants who are certain that they will decline their Main Round offers (e.g. for the reason of studying abroad) should cancel their JUPAS applications via their JUPAS accounts on or before the deadline of 20 July 2022 (11:59 pm) such that the offers, if any, they might receive in the Main Round could be given to other eligible applicants.
# As email is one of the channels that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will use to communicate with applicants, applicants must ensure that the setting of their personal email accounts will not filter out or place such correspondence in the trash / junk bins.
^ Emails and SMS are delivered via third party network providers and therefore the JUPAS Office is not responsible for any delay, loss, transfer, amendment or damage arising from the transmission process via third party network providers.
Should there be any discrepancies between information contained in emails and SMS and applicants' JUPAS accounts, the information contained in the latter (i.e. the JUPAS accounts) is final.
Applicants are strongly advised to log on their JUPAS accounts to double-check the related information.
■ Since important messages and correspondence from the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will be sent via applicants' mobile phone numbers and / or mailing addresses, applicants SHOULD NEVER share their mobile phone numbers or mailing addresses with other applicants in order to protect any information related to their JUPAS applications.
