Fraud Alert

Some organisation(s) might contact JUPAS applicants claiming they have obtained applicants' personal data from JUPAS in order to conduct direct marketing or other commercial purposes.  Please note that the JUPAS Office will NEVER release applicants' data to unauthorised third parties (i.e. those other than the authorised parties stated in Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Data).

Should there be any unauthorised third parties claiming they have obtained applicants' information from the JUPAS Office, JUPAS reserves all legal rights to seek compensation for such and similar fraudulent claims.

There may also be parties / individuals who claim to be personnel from the JUPAS Office giving applicants advice on, in particular, programme selections.  This claim is again FRAUDULENT, as the JUPAS Office is a processing agent for handling applications for admission to programmes offered by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions only and is not permitted to give such advice.  Determination of applicants' suitability for admission is entirely the decisions of the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions, and is independent of the JUPAS Office.  In this regard, the JUPAS Office will NEVER give advice to applicants on programme selections.

Should there be any unauthorised third parties claiming they have obtained applicants' data from the JUPAS Office, or are personnel from the JUPAS Office, JUPAS reserves all legal rights to seek compensation for such and similar fraudulent claims.

Please contact the JUPAS Office at info@jupas.edu.hk if you have any queries in this regard.
