Quantitative Finance 計量金融學
QFIN
Short Description
The Quantitative Finance program has been designed to address the growing demand for highly skilled individuals who possess exceptional quantitative abilities and analytical abilities in today's globalized economy. This program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in the financial industry through specialized courses in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, and information technology.
By completing this program, graduates will acquire a strong grasp of financial investment instruments and will be highly qualified for employment in various sectors, including investment banking, corporate and commercial banking, consulting, accounting and financial services, as well as general management roles in both financial and non-financial corporations.
To ensure a well-rounded education, the program places a strong emphasis on experiential learning beyond the confines of the classroom. Practical courses serve as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications in banking and finance. Additionally, a guest speaker series provides ample opportunities for students to engage with industry experts and discuss current finance-related issues of interest.
Students will have opportunities to participate in overseas exchanges and internships to broaden their horizons. The program has established robust networks and partnerships within the financial industry, and the positive experiences gained through internships have instilled confidence in companies to offer positions to students upon graduation.
