Short Description
Students in this programme will receive an in-depth education and holistic training in both creative cultivation and technical mastery of the art in animation and digital visual effects. Key areas of study and training include all aspects of animation and digital visual effects production, creative storytelling, cinematic production, art, history and aesthetic theories. Facilities include an animation computer laboratory, animation studio, and film/TV production studio.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Animation and Visual Effects Degree, students are well suited for a wide range of careers in the creative media industries such as advertising, film/TV, post-production houses, art education, game and web design. Opportunities for postgraduate studies are available in Hong Kong and abroad.

2. Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) applicants, who have met the specified circumstances as announced by the Education Bureau (EDB), can use the following qualifications to replace HKDSE Chinese Language level 3 to meet the entrance requirement for Chinese Language:
- HKDSE Applied Learning Chinese: Attained
- GCE (A-Level /AS-Level) Chinese: Grade E or above
- GCE (O-Level)/ GCSE/ IGCSE Chinese: Grade E or above
