Modification of Programme Choices

1 Will applicants with prior HKDSE Examination results who will not be sitting for the 2026 HKDSE Examination be allocated with time slots for the modifications of programme choices?

YES. ALL applicants, including those applicants with prior HKDSE Examination results who will not be sitting for the 2026 HKDSE Examination, will be allocated with time slots for modifications of programme choices. Applicants should log in to their JUPAS accounts from 24 June 2026 (9:00 am) to check the time slots allocated to them for modifications of programme choices. The allocated time slot for each applicant will NOT be changed under any circumstances.

2 How can applicants modify their programme choices if they are outside Hong Kong within their allocated time slots?

Applicants can log in to their JUPAS accounts at any internet-connected computers or mobile devices to modify their programme choices.

Applicants who are outside Hong Kong and wish to modify their programme choices within their allocated time slots should note that the JUPAS online application system operates according to Hong Kong time zone (HKT, i.e. UTC +8) and will be unavailable daily during 3:00 am – 6:00 am (HKT) for system maintenance. Applicants are reminded to note the time zone difference if they are overseas.

Applicants are also reminded to check if there will be restrictions on internet access in some countries which may prevent them from accessing their JUPAS accounts from overseas. Please note that the JUPAS Office will not make special arrangements for the applicants who claim to experience restrictions in internet.

3 If applicants have completed modifications, or if they have missed their allocated time slots, can they modify their programme choices again?

YES. If applicants wish to resubmit their programme choices after submitting modification, or if they have missed their allocated time slots, a one-time only resubmission with a fee of HK$250 is available. Applicants who wish to request a resubmission must confirm that they understand and accept the terms of the resubmission declaration via their JUPAS accounts by the deadline of 18 July 2026 (1:15 pm)*; and complete the modification of programme choices within 60 minutes.

After this one-time only resubmission, no further change of programme choices will be allowed.
