YES. Each school has its own SPN quota depending on the number of JUPAS applicants of the school as at the application deadline (i.e. 3 December 2025 (5:00 pm)). Please contact applicants' respective schools for further information.

2 If SPN nominees have deleted / moved their Band A programme choices as at 27 May 2026 (5:00 pm) to lower bands during the modifications of programme choices (after release of HKDSE Examination results), will special consideration of SPN be given in the iteration process in Main Round?

The 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and / or the SSSDP institutions will only consider SPN nominees' Band A programme choices as at 27 May 2026 (5:00 pm). Therefore, if applicants have deleted / moved their Band A programme choices as at 27 May 2026 (5:00 pm) to lower bands after the release of HKDSE Examination results, the special consideration may be withdrawn.

3 Following Question 2, will special consideration of SPN still be given ifSPN nominees add / move back the Band A programme choices as at 27 May 2026 (5:00 pm) when they submit requests for Reconsideration?

YES. If applicants have deleted / moved their Band A programme choices as at 27 May 2026 (5:00 pm) to lower bands after the release of HKDSE Examination results but have added / moved them back to Band A when they submit requests for Reconsideration, special consideration of SPN will still be given by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and / or the SSSDP institutions to those programmes.

4 If applicants have undergone name changes but the names contained in the supporting documents uploaded by schools are the previous ones, what should they do?

Applicants must inform the JUPAS Office immediately and submit copies of Deed Poll and / or identity documents containing the previous names for its necessary actions.

5 How do applicants know if they are being nominated under SPN?

Applicants can check the related information by logging in to their JUPAS accounts and view the information under "Application Summary" of the "Application Information" from 11 May 2026 (5:00 pm) onwards.
