School Reference Report (SRR) / Reference Report

1 What are the differences between School Reference Report (SRR) and Reference Report?

School principals, or teachers authorised by the school principals should complete and submit SRR for their schools' JUPAS applicants via the JUPAS online application system.

Reference Reports are completed by referees aged 18 or above for non-school applicants. The submission of Reference Report is optional. Applicants can download the "Reference Report" under "Forms" of the "Download Area" from their JUPAS accounts. Each non-school applicant may submit ONE Reference Report only.

2 Can non-school applicants submit their Reference Reports via their JUPAS accounts?

NO. Non-school applicants can only download the "Reference Report" under "Forms" of the "Download Area" from their JUPAS accounts for completion by their referees who should be aged 18 or above.

Copies of the duly signed Reference Reports, if available, must be completed and returned to the JUPAS Office via email at info@jupas.edu.hk on or before 18 March 2026 (5:00 pm).

Acknowledgement emails will be sent to both the applicants and the referees in 5 working days upon the receipt of the completed and duly signed Reference Reports by the JUPAS Office.

3 How do applicants know if their schools (for school applicants) / referees (for non-school applicants) have submitted SRR / Reference Reports for them?

Applicants can check the related information by logging in to their JUPAS accounts and view the information under "Application Summary" of the "Application Information" from 18 March 2026 (5:00 pm) onwards.

4 Can applicants submit reference letters other than SRR / Reference Reports?

NO. Only SRR submitted by schools via the JUPAS online application system (for school applicants) and the Reference Reports downloaded from the JUPAS accounts (for non-school applicants) will be accepted.
