HKMU awards are well recognized both locally and internationally. Our degrees are highly regarded by other universities, locally and internationally, for postgraduate studies. Many of our graduates have pursued further studies locally and abroad. All of our taught programmes, no matter they are conducted through face-to-face or distance learning, are listed on the Qualifications Register (QR) under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) introduced by the Education Bureau (EDB) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Our bachelor’s degrees are designated at QF level 5. According to a comparability study conducted by the EDB, our bachelor’s and master’s degrees are found to be comparable to the bachelor’s and master’s degrees under the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
