Short Description
Launched in 2005, Global Business Studies (GBS), as one of the most competitive programmes in Hong Kong, has been attracting the cream of secondary school graduates both from the local and non-local systems. GBS is a pioneer in the undergraduate business education in Hong Kong and has earned its reputation in the international education arena. Through an internationally oriented curriculum, we are committed to empowering highly aspiring students with distinct business acumen, cultural fluency and entrepreneurial mindset to become leaders who create meaningful impact in the global community. We offer expanded opportunities in top-notch university partners across Europe and North America.

Calculation of scores for applicants with more than 1 sitting in HKDSE Examination
Most programmes offered by CUHK consider the best results in the same subject taken by a candidate in more than one sitting of HKDSE. Some programmes may have specific arrangements and the admission scores of candidates seeking admission on the strength of results from more than one sitting of HKDSE may be adjusted. Details of calculation of scores in more than one sitting of HKDSE for the 2025-26 entry will be finalised and posted at the admissions website (admission.cuhk.edu.hk).
