Short Description
The programme aims to nurture graduates with updated practical knowledge and work-based experiential learning opportunities in hotel and tourism operations and management. Students will be exposed to a diverse range of practice-oriented courses on hotel operations, tourism and events management, smart technology applications, and sustainable environmental management for hotel and tourism. They will have access to various on-campus facilities, such as a simulated guest room, front desk, kitchen, and restaurant, as well as a training hotel where they can gain practical experience. Additionally, they are required to undertake a 9-month internship, collaborating with international hotel and tourism partners, to gain real-world experience and enhance their graduate employability in the related industries.
Remarks:
The programme has been selected for the second round of Education Bureau’s Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes. The programme and its number of intake are subject to the accreditation. It offers multiple entry routes and articulation pathways. First Year Tuition Fee
HK$ 77,210
The tuition fees for 2024-25 intake after the deduction of $45,810 subsidy under Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year are $31,400, $35,130, $38,840 and $41,370 respectively.
The subsidy is tenable for the normal duration of the study programme concerned and is subject to the students' satisfactory fulfilment for progression in the study programme.
