BEng in Electronic Engineering 電子工程學

ELEG

Short Description

The CUHK Electronic Engineering (EE) programme was established in 1970 and is accredited by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). The EE programme provides the broadest and most foundational engineering training for modern society. The courses offered are designed not only to convey fundamental knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering but also to focus training on one or more advanced EE subject areas. Students will have strong hands-on skills in circuit design, programming, and development of electronic components, systems, and networks, which will prepare them to advance the state-of-the-art technologies and to break new grounds.

Calculation of scores for applicants with more than 1 sitting in HKDSE Examination

Most programmes offered by CUHK consider the best results in the same subject taken by a candidate in more than one sitting of HKDSE.  Some programmes may have specific arrangements and the admission scores of candidates seeking admission on the strength of results from more than one sitting of HKDSE may be adjusted.  Details of calculation of scores in more than one sitting of HKDSE for the 2023-24 entry will be finalised and posted at the admissions website (admission.cuhk.edu.hk).
