Announcement of Main Round Offer Results
The Main Round offer results will be announced on 4 August 2027 (9:00 am)*. Applicants may check their results via their JUPAS accounts or SMS■^◊ via their registered mobile phone number. They may also access their JUPAS accounts via the designated JUPAS icon on the websites of the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions.
Understanding Main Round Offers
Applicants who are given a Main Round offer will receive only ONE offer from their CONFIRMED programme choice lists. The offer may be a UGC-funded programme, an HKMU self-financing programme or an SSSDP programme.
The offer will be the programme of the highest possible priority on the applicant's confirmed programme choice list, as determined via the JUPAS Iteration Process. It is therefore the applicant's BEST AND ONLY offer under JUPAS in the same academic year.
Applicants who are given Main Round offers will NOT be reconsidered for admission to any other programmes under JUPAS in the same academic year, regardless of whether they accept or decline the offer.
Exception: Applicants who obtain upgraded HKDSE Examination results in subject levels / grades after rechecking and remarking by the HKEAA (RR results) are eligible to request reconsideration of their JUPAS applications.

Applicants who wish to accept their Main Round offers MUST complete BOTH steps below:
Applicants MUST pay an acceptance fee of HK$5,000 between 4 August 2027 and 5 August 2027 (5:00 pm)*. Payment must be made via one of the channels listed under Application Period and Fee.
The acceptance fee is:

Collected by the JUPAS Office on behalf of the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions (the Institutions); and
-
Non-refundable and non-transferable to another admissions year / other applications.
Late payment is NOT accepted.
After payment, applicants should log in to their JUPAS accounts to check that the payment has been successfully recorded.
After paying the acceptance fee, applicants MUST:
-
Log in to their JUPAS accounts to view the registration / enrolment information provided by the offering institution; and
-
Complete the required registration / enrolment procedures within the period specified by that institution.
Applicants who are unable to complete the procedures within the specified period should contact the offering institutions directly as soon as possible. However, the acceptance of any late payment or registration is entirely at the discretion of the institution concerned.
Failure to complete Step 1 and / or Step 2 will be regarded as having declined the Main Round offer and will NOT be reconsidered for admission to any other programmes under JUPAS in the same academic year.

Before Deciding Whether to Accept a Main Round Offer

Applicants who are given Main Round offers will NOT be considered in the Clearing Round, regardless of whether they accept or decline their offers.

Applicants awaiting the results of rechecking and remarking of HKDSE Examination results should consider accepting their Main Round offers they wish to retain within the Main Round acceptance period. If they do not accept the offer by the deadline and are subsequently not given an Offer after Reconsideration, they cannot reinstate their Main Round offers.

Once an Offer after Reconsideration is made, the original Main Round offer will be withdrawn immediately and cannot be restored, regardless of whether the applicant accepts or declines the Offer after Reconsideration.

Applicants who are given an Offer after Reconsideration will NOT be considered in the Clearing Round, regardless of whether they accept or decline the offer.
The offer results after Reconsideration will be announced on 19 August 2027 (9:00 am)*. Applicants may check their results via their JUPAS accounts, registered emails#^ or SMS■^◊ via their registered mobile phone number.
Understanding Offers after Reconsideration
Applicants who are given an Offer after Reconsideration will receive only ONE offer from their CONFIRMED programme choice lists. The offer may be for a UGC-funded programme, an HKMU self-financing programme or an SSSDP programme.
The offer will be for the programme of the highest possible priority on the applicant's confirmed programme choice list, as determined via the JUPAS Iteration Process. It is therefore the applicant's BEST AND ONLY offer under JUPAS in the same academic year.
For applicants who received Main Round offers, the original Main Round offer will be withdrawn immediately once an Offer after Reconsideration is made and cannot be reinstated. This applies regardless of whether the applicant:

Accepted or declined the original Main Round offer;

Paid the acceptance fee for the original Main Round offer;

Completed the registration or enrolment procedures for the original Main Round offer; or
-
Subsequently accepts or declines the Offer after Reconsideration.

Applicants who wish to accept their Offers after Reconsideration MUST complete BOTH steps below:
a) Applicants who have paid the Acceptance Fee for their Main Round offers and subsequently receive Offers after Reconsideration MUST indicate their acceptance via their JUPAS accounts by 19 August 2027 (5:00 pm)*. They do NOT need to pay the acceptance fee again. After applicants indicate their acceptance, the JUPAS Office will transfer the acceptance fee already paid to the new offering institutions.
b) Applicants who have declined their Main Round offers or did not receive Main Round offers and subsequently receive Offers after Reconsideration MUST pay an acceptance fee of HK$5,000 by 19 August 2027 (5:00 pm)*. Payment must be made via one of the channels listed under Application Period and Fee.
The acceptance fee is:

Collected by the JUPAS Office on behalf of the Institutions; and
-
Non-refundable and non-transferable to another admissions year / other applications.

Refunds of Fees Paid for Main Round Offers
Applicants who have paid the HK$5,000 acceptance fee through JUPAS but do NOT accept their Offers after Reconsideration may request a refund for the acceptance fee paid for their Main Round offers. For the refund arrangements, please contact the JUPAS Office.
Applicants who have paid tuition fees or enrolment deposits directly to their original offering institutions should contact the respective Institutions regarding refund arrangements. Some SSSDP institutions may charge an administrative fee for processing a refund request.
# As email is one of the channels that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will use to contact applicants, applicants must ensure that the setting of their personal email accounts will not filter out or place such correspondence in the trash / junk / spam folders.
^ Emails and SMS are delivered via third party network providers and therefore the JUPAS Office is not responsible for any delay, loss, transfer, amendment or damage arising from the transmission process via third party network providers.
Should there be any discrepancies between information contained in emails and SMS and applicants' JUPAS accounts, the information contained in the JUPAS accounts will prevail.
Applicants are strongly advised to log in to their JUPAS accounts to double-check the related information.
■ Since important messages and correspondence from the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will be sent via applicants' mobile phone numbers and / or mailing addresses, applicants SHOULD NEVER share their mobile phone numbers or mailing addresses with other applicants in order to protect any information related to their JUPAS applications.
