Results: Main Round Offer

Applicants who obtain upgraded HKDSE Examination results in subject levels / grades after rechecking and remarking (RR results) from the HKEAA are eligible to request reconsideration of their applications (Reconsideration), regardless of whether they received, accepted, or declined Main Round offers.

The Reconsideration does NOT run automatically.  Eligible applicants who wish to be reconsidered MUST submit requests via their JUPAS accounts on 12 August 2027 (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)*.

Applicants who are satisfied with their Main Round offers or do not wish to be reconsidered for Offers after Reconsideration do NOT need to submit requests for Reconsideration.

The offers results after Reconsideration will be announced on 19 August 2027 (9:00 am)*.  For the possible outcomes and applicable arrangements, please refer to the Main Round Offer page.

Applications for rechecking and remarking of HKDSE Examination results must be submitted separately to the HKEAA in accordance with its procedures and deadlines.  The release of the rechecking and remarking results is also announced by the HKEAA.  The JUPAS Office does NOT process applications for rechecking and remarking.

Applying to the HKEAA for rechecking and remarking does NOT constitute a request for reconsideration under JUPAS.

Applicants who subsequently become eligible and wish to have their JUPAS applications reconsidered MUST submit a separate request via their JUPAS accounts.

Eligibility of Requests for Reconsideration (Accessible version)

Eligible applicants who wish to be reconsidered MUST complete the following via their JUPAS accounts during 12 August 2027 (9:00 am – 5:00 pm):

1. Indicate to submit a request for Reconsideration;

2. Modify their programme choices ONCE, free of charge, if they wish to do so; and

3. Submit their programme choices from "My DRAFT Programme Choices" to "My CONFIRMED Programme Choices".

Applicants MUST complete the above 1 and 3 even if they do not wish to modify their programme choices.  Programme choices remaining under "My DRAFT Programme Choices" will NOT be considered for Reconsideration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS WITH MAIN ROUND OFFERS

Applicants with Main Round offers should carefully consider which programmes they should place above the programmes already offered (Main Round offers).  Only programmes that they genuinely prefer should be placed above their Main Round offers.

Once an Offer after Reconsideration is made, the original Main Round offer will be withdrawn immediately, and the Offer after Reconsideration will become the applicant's BEST AND ONLY offer under JUPAS in the same academic year.  The applicant will NOT be reconsidered for admission to any other programmes under JUPAS in the same academic year.

The above applies regardless of whether the applicant:

• Accepted or declined the original Main Round offer;

• Paid the acceptance fee for the original Main Round offer;

• Completed the registration or enrolment procedures for the original Main Round offer; or

• Subsequently accepts or declines the Offer after Reconsideration.

Eligible applicants who submit requests for Reconsideration will NOT be disadvantaged even if the relevant programme quotas have already been filled.

An offer will be made if:

• Applicant meets all applicable entrance requirements of the programme concerned; and

• Applicant's revised position on the relevant merit order list is above the Main Round cut-off line for that programme.

The revised position may take into account the RR results, the banding of programme choices, interview performance where applicable, and other relevant admission considerations.

A one-time resubmission is available to applicants who have already used their free modification but wish to resubmit their programme choices.

Applicants MUST request and complete the resubmission via their JUPAS accounts by 12 August 2027 (5:00 pm).  A resubmission fee of HK$250 is payable via one of the channels listed in Application Period and Fee.

Applicants should ensure that they have sufficient time to modify their programme choices and complete the resubmission process on or before the deadline before making payment.

The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another admissions year / other applications.  Late request, payment or resubmission is NOT accepted.

Upon confirmation of successful payment, applicants' programme choices will be restored to the original programme choices as at 26 May 2027 (5:00 pm).  Applicants should then modify and resubmit their request for Reconsideration and programme choices via their JUPAS accounts by 12 August 2027 (5:00 pm) *.
