Modification of Programme Choices

1 Can applicants with previous HKDSE Examination results who will not sit the 2027 HKDSE Examination modify their programme choices?

YES. ALL applicants may modify their programme choices during the designated modification period, including applicants who have previous HKDSE Examination results and will not sit the 2027 HKDSE Examination.

2 Must applicants be in Hong Kong during the modification period?

No. Applicants may log in to their JUPAS accounts and modify their programme choices using an internet-connected computer or mobile device while outside of Hong Kong.

Applicants outside of Hong Kong should note that, the JUPAS Online Application System operates according to Hong Kong time zone (HKT, i.e. UTC +8), the system is unavailable daily during 3:00 am – 6:00 am (HKT) for system maintenance and internet access to the system may be restricted or unavailable in some locations.

Applicants should take account of any time-zone differences and local internet restrictions, and allow sufficient time to complete and submit their modified programme choices before the deadline.

The JUPAS Office will not make special arrangements for applicants who are unable to access their JUPAS accounts from outside Hong Kong because of local internet restrictions.
