Rechecking and Remarking of HKDSE Examination Results

1 How can applicants apply for rechecking and remarking of their HKDSE Examination results?

Applicants must apply directly to the HKEAA for rechecking and remarking of their HKDSE Examination results. For further information, please visit the HKEAA.

2 Do applicants have to submit their RR results to the JUPAS Office?

NO. The JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will obtain applicants' past and current HKDSE Examination results, including any rechecking and remarking results, directly from the HKEAA.

This arrangement applies provided that applicants use the same identity document (i.e. HKID card) number, to register for both their JUPAS accounts and their HKDSE Examination.

3 If an applicant's Main Round offer is for a programmes added during the modification period, will that programme remain on the applicant’s programme choice list when a request for Reconsideration is submittted?

YES. A programme added during 14 July (3:00 pm) – 16 July 2027 (3:00 pm)*) and subsequently offered to the applicant in the Main Round will remain on the applicant's programme choice list when the applicant submits a request for Reconsideration.

The applicant's programme choices recorded as at 26 May 2027 (5:00 pm) will be restored to "My DRAFT Programme Choices", and the programmes offered in the Main Round will be added to the end of that list.

As the Main Round offer programme occupies one of the five permitted additions or replacements and must NOT be deleted, the applicants may add / replace a maximum of 4 new programme choices. The programme choice list must not contain more than 20 programmes in total.

Applicants should place only programmes that they wish to be reconsidered ABOVE the programme offered to them in the Main Round. Only the programmes placed ABOVE the Main Round offers will be considered by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and / or the SSSDP institutions.

4 Will applicants be invited to interviews after submitting requests for Reconsideration?

Interviews arrangements are determined entirely by the individual JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions.

Applicants should contact the relevant institutions directly if they require further information about possible interview arrangements.

5 If applicants have financial difficulties in paying the acceptance fee before the specified deadline, what should they do?

Applicants who have financial difficulties in paying the acceptance fee before the specified deadline should contact the institutions offering them admissions directly as soon as possible for advice and assistance.

6 If applicants are given offers after Reconsideration and they have accepted programmes not under JUPAS, can the fees paid for such programmes be refunded? If so, how?

Applicants should contact the institutions offering them the programmes not under JUPAS directly for further information.
