Music Qualifications

Introduction

Submission of music qualifications is optional.  Applicants may submit up to 5 entries, comprising the highest level / score attained for each qualification.

The 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions (the Institutions) may consider these qualifications in addition to the applicants' HKDSE Examination results.

Music qualifications are provided for reference only.  The Institutions will determine whether and how the music qualifications are considered in their admissions assessments.

For the qualifications that may be submitted, please refer to the List of Music Qualifications.

For the applicable entrance requirements, please refer to the General entrance requirements and individual programme requirements.

Non-school applicants should monitor the verification status in their JUPAS accounts.  If the JUPAS Office requests further information on supporting documents, they should follow up promptly.

Submissions of qualifications do not mean that verification has been completed.  Only qualifications shown as verified in the JUPAS account will be considered by the Institutions.

In the event of any disputes and queries, the JUPAS Office will refer to the records maintained in the JUPAS Online Application System.

The Institutions may require applicants to present the original supporting documents for verification.  Applicants should ensure that all qualifications entered and supporting documents submitted are accurate and verifiable.  The submission of false or unverifiable qualifications may result in disqualification of the JUPAS application, withdrawal of an offer, cancellation of registration or enrolment, or termination of studies by the Institutions.
