Eligibility

HKDSE Examination Results

Applicants with Past and / or Current HKDSE Examination Results

Applicants MUST use the same identity document (i.e. HKID card) number to register for both:

  • their JUPAS accounts; and

  • their HKDSE Examinations at the HKEAA.

This enables the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions (the Institutions) to obtain ALL of the applicants' past and / or current HKDSE Examination results, including Aegrotat Certificates where applicable, from the HKEAA.

Authorisation to Access HKDSE Examination Results

When submitting the application, applicants are required to authorise via the "Declaration" page in thier JUPAS account, the JUPAS Office and the Institutions to:

  • Obtain their HKDSE Examination results from the HKEAA; and

  • Access and use the results in support of their applications.

Applicants do not need to submit their past and / or current HKDSE Examination results individually to the JUPAS Office.

Confirmation of HKDSE Examination Year(s)

Applicants will be notified by the JUPAS Office when their HKDSE Examination year(s) are available for confirmation in their JUPAS accounts.

Applicants MUST check and confirm that all of their HKDSE Examination year(s) are correctly recorded.  This enables the JUPAS Office and the Institutions to verify that the relevant HKDSE Examination results have been successfully obtained from the HKEAA.

The Institutions may consider the HKDSE Examination results obtained in different sittings when assessing applicants for admission.  Applicants should refer to the general entrance requirements and individual programme requirements and the websites of the respective institutions for further information.

Points to Note

  1. Applicants Who Have Used Other Identity Document for HKDSE Examination Registration

    • Applicants who did not use HKID card numbers to register for the current HKDSE Examination sitting MUST contact the HKEAA to update their registration records.

    • Applicants who used identity documents other than their HKID cards to register for previous HKDSE Examination sittings MUST notify the JUPAS Office via their JUPAS accounts upon receiving the relevant notification from the JUPAS Office.

    • If the identity document details do not match, the JUPAS Office and the Institutions WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ALL of the applicants' past and / or current HKDSE Examination results from the HKEAA.  The Institutions may therefore be unable to consider all of their HKDSE Examination results when assessing their applications.

  2. Notification for Confirmation of HKDSE Examination Year(s)

    • Applicants will be notified by the JUPAS Office via email#^ and SMS^ when their HKDSE Examination year(s) are available for confirmation.

    • Upon receiving the notification, applicants should log in their JUPAS accounts and complete the confirmation promptly.

Deadline for Confirmation of HKDSE Examination Year(s)

Applicants MUST confirm their HKDSE Examination year(s) via their JUPAS accounts by 16 June 2027 (5:00 pm).

Applicants who do not complete the confirmation by the deadline will be considered by the Institutions based on the HKDSE Examination results recorded in their JUPAS accounts as at the deadline.

Late confirmation / further amendment is NOT accepted.

As email is one of the channels that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will use to contact applicants, applicants must ensure that the setting of their personal email accounts will not filter out or place such correspondence in the trash / junk / spam folders.

^ Emails and SMS are delivered via third party network providers and therefore the JUPAS Office is not responsible for any delay, loss, transfer, amendment or damage arising from the transmission process via third party network providers.

Should there be any discrepancies between information contained in emails and SMS and applicants' JUPAS accounts, the information contained in the JUPAS accounts will prevail.

Applicants are strongly advised to log in to their JUPAS accounts to double-check the related information.

Since important messages and correspondence from the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will be sent via applicants' mobile phone numbers and / or mailing addresses, applicants SHOULD NEVER share their mobile phone numbers or mailing addresses with other applicants in order to protect any information related to their JUPAS applications.

SMS will be sent with the Registered SMS Sender ID of #JUPAS to a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number.
