Period 4: Post-HKDSE Exam Results Announcement (Jul – Aug 2027)
Feedback on Special Consideration
Introduction
Applicants who have participated in any of the following special consideration arrangements below may log in to their JUPAS accounts from the applicable dates to view the relevant feedback and related information.
Important Information for Applicants
-
Applicants are NOT required to respond to the special consideration feedback.
-
Regardless of the feedback received, applicants' programme choices will continue to be considered in the Main Round through the JUPAS Iteration Process. Each successful applicant will ultimately receive ONE Main Round offer for the programme of the highest possible priority on the applicant's programme choice list for which the applicant has met the required rating.
-
If the JUPAS Iteration Process results in an offer for a programme of a higher priority than a conditional offer made under SPN or OEA, or an offer made under the special consideration arrangements for applicants with disabilities, the applicant will receive the higher-priority Main Round offer. Applicants cannot choose between the two offers.
-
The final offer results will be announced with the JUPAS Main Round offer results on 4 August 2027 (9:00 am)*.
Applicants nominated under the SPN may log in to their JUPAS accounts from 9 July 2027 (9:00 am)*.
SPN special consideration applies only to the applicant's programme choices in Band A as at 26 May 2027 (5:00 pm). An applicant may therefore receive feedback up to THREE programme choices.
For each applicable Band A programme choice, the Institutions may, at their discretion, give an applicant one of the following outcomes:
| Possible Outcome | Description |
|---|---|
| Conditional Offer | The applicant will be admitted to the programme concerned if the conditions specified by the relevant Institution are met. |
| Bonus Points | An Institution will award bonus points when compiling the merit order list for the programme concerned. |
| No Special Consideration | The applicant will not receive a conditional offer or bonus points for the programme concerned. |
As the SPN feedback is released before the announcement of the HKDSE Examination results, applicants may subsequently modify their programme choices under the applicable arrangements.
Applicants should note that a conditional offer or bonus points under SPN may be withdrawn if the relevant programme choice is subsequently deleted or moved to a lower band.
For the applicable arrangements, please refer to the School Principal's Nominations (SPN) and Modification of Programme Choices (after Release of HKDSE Examination Results).
Applicants who have submitted OEA information may log in to their JUPAS accounts from 9 July 2027 (9:00 am)*.
An Institution may, at its discretion, make a conditional offer for a programme on the applicant's programme choice list, based on the OEA information submitted by an applicant. A conditional offer is the only type of special consideration feedback given under OEA.
As the OEA feedback is released before the announcement of the HKDSE Examination results, applicants may subsequently modify their programme choices under the applicable arrangements. If the programme for which a conditional offer has been made is deleted from the programme choice list, the conditional offer will be withdrawn.
For the applicable arrangements, please refer to Other Experiences and Achievements in Competitions / Activities (OEA) and Modification of Programme Choices (after Release of HKDSE Examination Results).
