Short Description
The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Data Analytics & X is a comprehensive Collaborative Double Major Programme jointly offered by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) (CUHK (SZ)).
Students will pursue a first major in Interdisciplinary Data Analytics offered by CUHK, and a second major among specific academic disciplines (business, engineering and science) offered by either CUHK or CUHK(SZ).

The programme encompasses a wide spectrum of subject knowledge and skills in business, engineering and science, with real-life application of big data and business analytics for innovation and development, and in-depth study of a chosen subject. It offers exposure to the Greater Bay Area (GBA) cities, and is ideally suited for students interested in pursuing a career in leading national organizations and multi-national enterprises committed to developing markets in the GBA or Mainland China.

(3) Taking Mathematics Extended Module 1 or 2 will be strongly recommended.

Calculation of scores for applicants with more than 1 sitting in HKDSE Examination
Most programmes offered by CUHK consider the best results in the same subject taken by a candidate in more than one sitting of HKDSE. Some programmes may have specific arrangements and the admission scores of candidates seeking admission on the strength of results from more than one sitting of HKDSE may be adjusted. Details of calculation of scores in more than one sitting of HKDSE for the 2025-26 entry will be finalised and posted at the admissions website (admission.cuhk.edu.hk).
