Introduction of New SSSDP Programme (JSSY03)
The following new SSSDP programme will be offered by Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) in the 2027 Admissions Exercise:

Starting from 2027 Admissions Exercise, Bachelor of Science with Honours in Digital Solutions for Entertainment and Game Applications (BSc-DSEGA) (JUPAS Catalogue No.: JSSY03) will be subsidized by the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) as a laboratory-based programme.
The programme aims to address the growing need for digital professionals who can fluidly and competently combine (a) professional and technical skills in digital entertainment and gaming applications; (b) knowledge and vision of various social science and business domains; and (c) project management and communication skills in interdisciplinary and collaborative projects.
The programme is designed to train students to operate as a "hub", enabling them to develop technological solutions in the context of social science/business practices. The BSc-DSEGA thus occupies a unique position and offers unique provision to the digital entertainment and gaming industries.
