Summary on Eligibility for Application via JUPAS

LOCAL applicants with HKDSE Examination results MUST only apply via JUPAS.

Applicants should read carefully the general entrance requirements and individual programme requirements of the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions when they apply via JUPAS.

LOCAL applicants with both HKDSE Examination and other academic results, whose HKDSE Examination results ALONE would make them eligible for application to the listed programmes may apply via JUPAS.

Assessment on applications via JUPAS will be based mainly on the strength of HKDSE Examination results, while other aspects will be considered by relevant institutions as appropriate.

NON-LOCAL applicants are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply via JUPAS and must apply for admission via non-JUPAS.

Applicants who are currently enrolled in full-time bachelor's degree programmes under JUPAS are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply via JUPAS.  If such local applicants wish to apply via JUPAS, they MUST have completed the entire withdrawal process from the full-time bachelor's degree programmes at the JUPAS participating-institutions / the SSSDP institutions which they are currently enrolled in at the time of JUPAS applications; otherwise, their applications will NOT be processed.

The JUPAS Office will check the applicants' status with the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions, and request such applicants to provide supporting documents to prove their withdrawal status when necessary.  If such applicants cannot provide the supporting documents, or the JUPAS Office receives confirmation from the institutions that such local applicants have not completed the entire withdrawal process, their JUPAS applications will be cancelled without further notice.

LOCAL applicants who combined their HKDSE Examination results with other academic results to meet the subject requirements for admission to the programmes under JUPAS are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply via JUPAS and should apply via non-JUPAS.

Applicants without any HKDSE Examination results are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply via JUPAS and should apply via non-JUPAS.

Applicants with other academic results only are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply via JUPAS and should apply via non-JUPAS.
