Short Description
The Diplomacy and International Studies programme is an interdisciplinary programme jointly offered by the Faculty of Social Science and the Faculty of Law, leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science. In response to the expeditious developments in geopolitics and international diplomacy, the programme is designed to cultivate high-level talents equipped with a global perspective, an international mindset, strong intercultural competence, and the ability to excel in international organizations and diplomatic settings.
Emphasizing the integration of theory and practice, the Programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum covering diplomacy, international governance, law, regional studies, and interpersonal and intercultural competence. In addition, students will gain practical experience through internships at embassies, consulates, and international organizations, along with professional training at the China Foreign Affairs University. Students will also participate in overseas exchange, ensuring exposure to learning experiences in both China and international locales.
