Short Description
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence programme offers comprehensive education in artificial intelligence (AI) leading to profession in many possible fields with highly paid jobs both in and outside Hong Kong. It helps students acquire the state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in AI and information technology (IT), and apply them in multiple useful disciplines. It nurtures AI professionals with expertise and ethical values in designing, planning, and executing solutions to problems/products/services with sound and logical judgments and to contribute to the society in the globally expanding AI job market or to continue with postgraduate study.

Applicants with previous HKDSE subject result of A040 ‘Liberal Studies’ will be used as the alternative of the core subject requirement of A045 ‘Citizenship and Social Development’.
Note1:
- “Attained", "Attained with Distinction (I)", and "Attained with Distinction (II)" in Applied Learning (ApL) subjects (Category B) are considered to be equivalent to Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 in HKDSE subjects respectively. A maximum of 2 Applied Learning (ApL) subjects will be taken into consideration.
- Other Languages subjects (Category C) at specified levels are considered as elective subjects. A maximum of one Other Languages subject will be taken into consideration.

First Year Tuition Fee

The first year tuition fee for 2027-28 intake of the 4-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence is HK$ 87,880 per year.
The net tuition fee for the 2027-28 intake after the deduction of HK$46,780 subsidy under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP):

Year 4: HK$ 41,100
The SSSDP subsidy for academic years after 2027/28 is subject to annual review by the Education Bureau. Accordingly, the net tuition fee payable will be adjusted based on the approved subsidy amount for the relevant academic year.
