BSc (Hons) DSEGA
Short Description
The BSc (Hons) DSEGA programme aims to address the growing need for digital professionals who can fluidly and competently combine (a) professional and technical skills in digital entertainment and gaming applications; (b) knowledge and vision of various social science and business domains; and (c) project management and communication skills in interdisciplinary and collaborative projects.
The programme is designed to train students to operate as a “hub”, enabling them to develop technological solutions in the context of social science/business practices. The BSc-DSEGA thus occupies a unique position and offers unique provision to the digital entertainment and gaming industries.

Applicants with previous HKDSE subject result of A040 ‘Liberal Studies’ will be used as the alternative of the core subject requirement of A045 ‘Citizenship and Social Development’.
- The‘Attained’ level in the subject ‘Citizenship and Social Development’ can be counted as Level 2 and included in the score calculation of the best five subjects.
- Priority will be given to students who have achieved Level 4 or above in the ‘Extended modules in Mathematics’ and/or Information and Communication Technology.
- Applicants can use at most one relevant Applied Learning subject (ApL) as an elective subject. "Attained with Distinction (II)” and "Attained with Distinction (I)” is comparable to level 4 and level 3 respectively. 'Attained' in ApL will not be considered. In addition, ApL Chinese cannot be used as an elective subject.
- Maximum of one Category C subject (Other languages) can be counted.

First Year Tuition Fee
HK$ 97,967
The first year tuition fee of 2027/28 entry is $97,967 and the whole programme fee is $391,868. The amount of SSSDP subsidy in 2027/28 is $81,450. After deducting SSSDP subsidy, the estimated first year tuition fee is $16,517 and the whole programme fee is $66,068.
